Welcome to The Bridge Examinations Hub, an approved examination centre providing examination services for private candidates from across Wiltshire and the surrounding counties.
Whether you are home educated, a mature learner, studying through a distance learning provider, resitting qualifications, or taking a subject unavailable at your current school or college, our experienced examinations team is here to support you throughout the process.
Our purpose-built examination facilities have been designed to provide a calm and comfortable environment. Smaller examination rooms are available for candidates who prefer quieter surroundings, while our main examination room accommodates up to 20 candidates.

We know that visiting an unfamiliar examination centre can feel daunting. Take a look around our Exams Hub before you arrive and get to know the spaces where your examinations may take place.
Private Candidates
All private candidate entries must be submitted using our online entry form.
Once an entry request has been received, we will confirm receipt and the examinations team will review the application. Entries are confirmed following verification of subject availability, examination requirements and any associated fees.
For subjects that are less commonly requested, The Bridge Alternative Provision reserves the right to accept entries only where a minimum of five candidates have requested entry for the same qualification and examination series.
Candidates are encouraged to submit their entry requests as early as possible.
Access Arrangements
We are committed to ensuring examinations are accessible for all learners.
Candidates who require access arrangements should notify us at the earliest opportunity and complete the relevant documentation. Supporting evidence may be required in accordance with JCQ or Cambridge International regulations.
Our SENCO and examinations team will guide candidates through the application process where appropriate.
Results & Certificates
Results are issued directly to candidates in accordance with awarding organisation regulations and data protection requirements.
Candidates will receive information about results days, post-results services and access to scripts before results are published.
Examination certificates are received directly from awarding organisations following each examination series. Once checked and processed, candidates will be invited to collect their certificates from the centre.
Secure postal delivery is also available for candidates living outside Wiltshire.
