At The Bridge, we understand that receiving exam results can be an emotional and uncertain time. Our Results & Post-Results Service is designed to support learners and families through every step of the process — whether celebrating success, considering a result or planning the next move.
We provide a clear, calm and supportive approach to the release of GCSE, iGCSE, A Level and Functional Skills results.
Our examinations team ensures that both internal and private candidates receive their results securely, with guidance available to help you understand what your results mean and the options available to you.
Results Day
Candidates will be provided with information about how and when their results will be released before results day.
Results are handled securely and in accordance with awarding organisation requirements and data protection legislation.
Keep your contact details up to date
Please make sure the Exams Team has your current email address and contact information so that important results and post-results information can reach you.
Post-Results Services
If a result is not what you expected, there may be options available to help you understand how the mark was awarded or request that the marking is reviewed.
The service available will depend on the qualification, awarding organisation and circumstances.
See Your Exam Paper
A copy of your marked examination script may be requested from the awarding organisation where the service is available.
Check the Marks
A clerical re-check can confirm that all parts of the examination have been marked and that the marks have been correctly totalled and recorded.
Review the Marking
Where appropriate, a review can be requested to check that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly.
Further Review
In certain circumstances, further appeal routes may be available following completion of the relevant post-results process.
Your mark can change.
Following a review of marking, a candidate's mark and grade may go down, stay the same, or go up.
Candidates must therefore provide the appropriate consent before a review is submitted.
